7-Day Georgia Itinerary: The Perfect Travel Plan

Day two takes you north along the legendary Georgian Military Highway to Kazbegi. Arrive in Kazbegi by early afternoon and hike up to the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church, perched at 2,170 meters beneath the mighty Mount Kazbek. In the afternoon, drive to Telavi, the capital of Kakheti, and explore the local market and the ruins of the Batonis Tsikhe fortress. Return to Tbilisi in the evening for a farewell dinner in the Old Town.

Day six is a western excursion to the ancient city of Kutaisi and the spectacular canyons of the Imereti region.
